change

something happened to me a while ago that inspired change in my life.
that was laughter.
i had been in a zone. an unhappy zone and i thought it was normal.
i thought what i was experiencing - unhappiness, stress, discontent and fear, i thought i'd settle for these.

and i broke free from that zone by laughing at myself, by laughing at my worries and my troubles and laughing at him. and it didn't take me long to realize that it was time to break free from what i had been settling for and to jump off the cliff once again.

and as i write this blog, i now find myself unemployed and a bit more free. a bit more financially unstable but free.

i don't know much but i do know that i'm a lot happier.

i wonder what comes next.

yesterday...

i realized that fear is running my life.

sometimes i think people kick me down just to see if i'd get back up.

1-1-09

today i cleaned.
i cleaned my kitchen.
i cleaned my bathroom.
i cleaned my clothes.
i cleaned out my closet.

i tried to clean out the bad thoughts.
i tried to clean out the doubts.
i tried to clean out the unanswerable questions.

i took a long hot steaming shower.
almost as a finale - to sweat out the last bit of built up frustration.

today is the first day of an awesome year ahead. i love new beginnings.

neighbors

i have no idea what i'm doing here.
it's 3am in the morning and they start partying at 3am on sundays.
then. the guy that sleeps in the parking lot, starts trying to ask them for a beer 3 floors up thru the window. and shit talking starts.
i need to wake up for work in 3 hrs.
i'm estimating a 12hr work day and i'm up typing.
what am i doing here.

last thursday at work i had a beer just so i can say last thursday i had a beer at work while eating gummi bears and cookies chatting with my boss and coworker while watching live music. and then i went back to work.
